PEACE ONE DAY EXHIBITION – Monday Sept 17th – 22nd

An exhibition highlighting what Peace Once Day is about and what we have done locally to celebrate it over the past 10 years. The exhibition is at Wallasey Central Library.

PEACE ONE DAY CONCERT – Friday 21st Sept, 7.30pm

An evening with singer/ songwriter, Claire Mooney at Park View Social Club, Liscard Road, Wallasey.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki Remembered

Monday August 6th on the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima.                                           11am The Peace Garden,  St. John’s Garden, Liverpool.  The Lord Mayor, Cllr. Sharon Sullivan, will lay a wreath in memory of all victims of  war and nuclear attack.  Introductions by Gerry Poole.  Music by Neville Grundy.

Thursday August 9th on the anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki.  7.30pm Film showing in The Basement at Next to Nowhere, 96 Bold St. Liverpool: “Days that shook the world”  followed by refreshments and discussion.
