Gordon Nash (1925 – 2016)
Gordon Nash, one of our longest serving and most committed members, has sadly died in early hours of Saturday morning at the age of 91.
Gordon was a steadfast peace activist who abhorred nuclear weapons, war, inequality and injustice and dedicated himself to fighting them, through his work with us and the trade union movement, right up to the end of his life.
He was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all those who had the pleasure of meeting him.
Everyone at Merseyside C.N.D would like to extend their deepest sympathies to Gordon’s family and friends.

Hosted by Greater Manchester + District C.N.D.
A day of discussions, meetings and workshops about tactics and techniques for peace, anti-nuclear and social justice campaigners.
This event will be open to the public and be an opportunity to share ideas, learn about other campaigns and plan for the year ahead.

14.45 – 15.00: Closing remarks
At 3pm there will be a historical/political tour of Manchester, led by local CND man Steve Roman. A great chance to see the sights and learn about Manchester’s history of radical politics.

Hiroshima Day 2016 Photos
To remember the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, we were this year joined by Lord Mayor of Liverpool Roz Gladden at St. John’s Gardens. A big thank you to everyone who came, including John Usher who took the photos below.
