Merseyside CND would like to thank everyone who attended our Remembrance Day event at St. John’s Gardens on 11th.
Following an introduction from Co-Chair Peter Wilson, a two minutes’ silence was observed after which Gerry Poole laid a wreath in honour of all those people who have lost their lives to war. To finish off Neville Grundy provided music which included the anti-war classic Down by the Riverside

Thanks to Kim Bryan for the photographs.

Merseyside C.N.D. will be joining Pax Christi this coming Thursday to leaflet and protest Liverpool University’s continuing involvement in the research and development of military drones. This technology, the use of which has increased dramatically in recent years, is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

Everyone is welcome to join us!
