Donate to the Burghfield Protesters
In October 2018 a groups of anti-nuclear protesters from Trident Ploughshares blockaded AWE Burghfield, successfully shutting down the bomb factory for entire day. Nine were subsequently arrested and four were recently convicted of trespass and ordered to pay £3180 in court costs.
Speaking after the verdict, Chris Bluemel said: ”I am obviously disappointed by the verdict but the fight to rid the UK and the world of nuclear weapons continues. There is a wealth of literature as to the illegality of Trident and I am convinced that we are on the right side of history on this issue.”
We are asking our members and supporters to donate any amount you can afford to help them.

CND BUS ADVERTS
Can you help us take our anti-Trident message to the heart of the establishment?
We are trying to get our adverts on Manchester’s buses in time for the Conservative Party Conference.
Donate today to help fund our bus adverts, and you can tell the government loud and clear that most people don’t want nuclear weapons and the money wasted on them should be spent on public services instead.
If everyone who reads this donates just £10, we’ll have had an enormously successful campaign. But any amount given is greatly appreciated, so if you can, please donate today and get our anti-Trident message on the buses this autumn.
