May 15th is International Day of Conscientious Objectors – Liverpool Quakers mark the day with a stall on School Lane from 2.30pm. From 7pm there will be an opportunity to find out about & celebrate the stories of those who opposed World War 1. Emily Johns (Editor of Peace News) will be presenting this event at the Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane.
There will also be music and pom pom making at the Meeting House as part of Light Night
Trident ballot tomorrow
Following on from last week’s there will be a further Trident ballot tomorrow at Bromborough Cross, Bromborough Village Rd, CH62 from 11am – 2pm.

Merseyside C.N.D. will be holding a Scrap Trident stall and ballot on Friday 17th April from 11am to 3pm outside News from Nowhere, Bold Street, Liverpool
Birkenhead C.N.D. is also holding a Scrap Trident stall and ballots, which will be on Saturday 18th April from 11am to 3pm at Milton Pavement, Birkenhead
